SmartDesigner™ is a 100% web-based solution that provides SmartSolve® users the ability to create new applications or redesign Pilgrim’s existing ‘Best Practices’ out-of-the-box forms to help customers meet their industry requirements, diverse products demands, and changing organizational needs. Pilgrim’s SmartDesigner also allows SmartSolve functional administrators to incorporate other business processes to be compliant and integrated with Pilgrim’s Enterprise Compliance & Quality solution. From simple property changes, to creating dynamic pages, managing translations and drag-and-drop form controls, SmartDesigner puts the power of “flexibility” into the hands of each functional administrator.

SmartDesigner’s out-of-the-box tools allow users to:

Configuring New Applications

Business rules can be easily applied to form control properties and data objects, along with a library of functions with a visual expression builder for advanced process control. Design Management
With SmartDesigner, each configuration change is version-controlled and secured. Preview capabilities allow the designer to view a WYSIWYG representation of the form prior to publishing to the user community. SmartDesigner provides preview capabilities and a comprehensive archive of the history and version of each form. Exporting/importing capabilities support any requirements for external Version Control, and provide the ability to move forms and applications between environments or share across organizational divisions.
